fun new beauty products
We’ve seen these One Two lashes popping up everywhere lately! They seem relatively easy to use and WAY less mess than our the falsies we typically use. Also, I recently got eyelash extensions and let’s just say…probably not doing that again (will save that story for another time). Anywho- these One Two lashes have tiny magnets in them and come in sets of four. The lashes actually sandwich (the only verb I could think of to describe this) your eyelashes and magnetize around them. They are a bit more than your disposable falsies but these guys seem like they should last much longer! Definitely thinking about saying adios to the gooky eye glue look and making the investment…
Brit + co compiled this list of new beauty products and I cannot wait to try the Rimmel last tinting mascara! It gradually darkens your lashes with each application which is a godsend for a girl like me. The ends of my lashes are a bit lighter so I’ve tried tinting as well, but this seems like a great alternative. Also, that Dyson blowdryer- need it in my life stat!
butternut squash & spinach enchiladas
The “cold” California weather has had us craving warm soups and hearty meals lately. I was on a turkey chili kick but want to try to incorporate a meatless Monday in the schedule. I can’t wait to make this butternut squash enchilada recipe I found on Cupcakes and Cashmere. Will report back : )
david’s tea semi-annual sale
This one might be better than the Victoria’s secret sale… does that mean we’re getting old?? I LIVE for these loose teas- Forever Nuts is my abso fave but not just because it turns pink in color from the beetroot. One cup of this bad boy and everyone in your office will be asking what you’re cooking up. I’ve also been making a good amount of tea lattes since I got a milk frother for Christmas- are you wondering if this post was sponsored by AARP yet? David’s Tea semi annual sale has sick deals on loose teas like some of my favorites such as coffee cake and nutty & spice. #notsponsored we just love this ish. The employees are always so friendly and want you to smell everything and your OCD senses will have a field day (in a good way).
Back when Pinterest started in 2010 I remember it being like some kind of secret wonderland. I remember showing it to my mom and neither of us could believe how many amazing ideas there were- from recipes, to the perfect color grey (it’s Light French Grey by Sherwin Williams), great outfits, the perfect haircut for your face shape etc. The site went from game changer to totally overwhelming in a few years. “Pinterest Fails” became a very hilarious, real thing. But we’re putting our differences aside and taking back to Pinterest- this time for major inspo. Not necessarily to copy but to get ideas; to help freshen our closets up by inspiring new ways to wear something we already have, help us make more creative healthy meals, and to get organized. trader joe’s top faves
Ok, we all know and love TJ’s cookie butter- let’s just get that out of the way. But the unsung hero of TJ’s is really the Italian Truffle cheese (hearts for eyes). We’re loving this list of amazing TJ’s products of stuff we already know and love and others we’re dying to try. What are your favorite Trader Joe’s products?
